Hangries – Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Hangries, we strive to serve you hot, fresh, and delicious food every single time. However, we understand that mistakes may happen, and we’re committed to resolving them promptly.

When Am I Eligible for a Refund or Replacement?

1. Wrong Order Delivered

If you receive an incorrect item, you may request:

  • A full refund to the original payment method, or

  • A replacement of the correct item.

2. Food Quality Issues

If the food delivered does not meet quality standards (e.g., stale, undercooked), we will:

  • Arrange a replacement at the earliest, or

  • Offer a refund or store credit, based on your preference.

3. Soft Drinks & Bottled Water

Refunds or replacements will only be issued if:

  • The item is unopened and sealed, and

  • There is damage or a delivery error.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Orders where the item has been consumed (unless a quality issue is reported).

  • Change of mind after order confirmation.

  • Requests made after 1 hour of order delivery.

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To raise a refund or cancellation request:

  • Call us within 1 hour of receiving your order.

  • Please have your order details ready and, if possible, share a photo of the issue for faster resolution.

Refund Timelines & Method

  • Refunds will be initiated to the original payment method (Razorpay, UPI, card, etc.).

  • Processing time: 5–7 business days.

  • In some cases, store credit may be offered based on the situation and your preference.

Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled only before preparation begins.

  • Once the kitchen has started preparing your food, cancellation is not allowed.

Important

We reserve the right to reject refund or cancellation requests if:

  • The issue is reported too late,

  • The item has been tampered with, consumed, or misused,

  • Or in case of repetitive false claims.
